Role Purpose:

In coordination with the Division Head, participate in the development and implementation of the targeted communications and advertising content for various media platform to enhance ICD’s institutional profile and build awareness of its development mandate.

Also, closely coordinate the organization of the meeting and events at the headquarter to ensure providing necessary support and coverage to the participants.

Key Functional Accountabilities and Activities:

Meeting and Events Management/Coordination:

  • Understand the requirements and expectations of the meetings and events.
  • Provide the required assistance and logistical support in organizing events in ICD Headquarter as per the anticipated expectations/requirements.
  • Cover the meetings and events by taking photos.
  • Support the Division Head PR & Communication with the planning and delivery of  ICD’s external events programme, including Annual Meetings, conferences, roadshows, summits and speaking platforms. 
  • In consultation with the relevant Departments/Divisions, prepare a calendar  for both internal and external events.
  • Coordinate  the delivery of ICD’s internal events such as stakeholder Meetings and town halls.

Media Management:


  • Support the maintenance of ICD’s website and social channels, including developing and uploading new content.
  • Closely monitor the ongoing media/advertising campaign and report to the Line Manager/Supervisor. 
  • Support the maintenance of ICD’s website and social channels, including developing and uploading new content.
  • Closely coordinate with the media partners to ensure appropriate implementation of the agreed services. Collect the necessary data to edit articles and news considering factual accuracy of the data and information provided
  • Participate in drafting Arabic news.
  • Provide assistance in implementing the display screen network in ICD building and regional offices.
  • Coordinate with the translator to load ICD’s news and articles on the corporate website in 3 languages.

Archive/Store Management:

  • Log all archive media interviews, press clips and media outreach..
  • Organize and manage the division’s store with the required marketing materials/collaterals and gifts.
  • Manage the digital archive of the division by loading the photos and videos in the shared folder on daily basis.

Ad hoc Responsibilities:

  • Provide other administrative duties wherever required and instructed by the Line Manager/Supervisor.

Qualifications/ Professional Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Communications/Event Management role preferably in Banking/Financial Services sector is a must.
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Media /Marketing/PR/ or any additional relevant discipline is a must.
  • Professional certification in Marketing or any related professional qualification certification(s) is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Language Skills:

Capable of communicating in two of the working languages (Arabic, English and French) of which Arabic is a must and English is an added advantage.
