IDB2766 - Senior Expert, Digital Innovation & Transformation

This role is responsible to contribute the digital transformation strategy of ITFC and or to open new opportunities in the digital workspace by using modern technologies. It thus provides profound knowledge about business architectures and provides digital solutions considering usability, time-to-market and other non-functional requirements.

• Contributing to the IT strategy for ITFC, which enables the achievement of business objectives and priorities. Continuously monitoring the IT strategy implementation to ensure effectiveness of the same.
• Develop programmes to implement digital innovative products which will enable the organization to deliver products and services which are efficient and highly effective.
• Participate in setting up and executing pilot projects and proof of concept. Partner with key stakeholders throughout the organization to drive alignment and momentum.
• Create and embed a prioritization approach to develop a roadmap for innovation with the relevant processes, tools and metrics to support business objectives and new growth opportunities.
• Work with technology and innovation lead for providing architecture and technology oversight and guidance.
• Participate in new business opportunities as required, develop proposals and scopes of work as required.
• Participate in continued learning to grow both technical and non-technical skillsets.
• Create an innovation approach with the appropriate processes, tools and metrics to support new growth opportunities.
• Support the design and successful implementation of financial technology solutions based on the business requirements.
• Partner with platform service functions and other business units to create differentiated value propositions by leveraging the complete portfolio of ITFC IT tools, solutions, and services.
• Help ITFC for working out and delivering on business plans for digitalization.
• Monitor and improve execution and effectiveness of digitalization programs.
• Work with business managers to understand business directions and constraints to develop thesis based on emerging technology-enabled solutions.
• Manage the process of collaboration with business managers and start-ups to pilot and implement technologies through to partnership stage.
• Monitor progress of applied solutions and ensure collaboration with business units progress according to benefits proposed.
• Develop a deep understanding of the channels, products and services that Financial Services Providers can apply to deliver digital financial services.
• Maintaining an understanding of technology advancements, evolutions and innovations taking place in Financial Servies Providers space.

• Work with other D&OE team in the preparation of partnerships involving Digital Financial solutions including the co-development and presentation, of proposals to the management.

• Understanding the business area needs, and encouraging the use of effective digital technology to fulfil business needs, leveraging state-of-the-art digital solutions, to drive operational excellence in the organization, and translating strategic initiatives into delivery-focused change initiatives.
• Collaborating closely with the System Architect to define the main purpose and requirements of the system architecture and promoting alignment with it.
• Bridging the gap between business and digital technology by aligning and integrating the two to ensure the successful implementation of ITFC’s business strategy.

• Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar discipline

• English is compulsory
• Arabic is preferable 

• Minimum of 9 years of experience
• Prior experience in the financial services industry digital transformation and innovation area
